Psychedelic Integration Therapy

Mental Health Benefits of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Psychedelic Integration

At Go Inward, we respect personal choices individuals make in their healing journey and adopt a harm reduction approach. We prioritize safety and offer resources for using these substances responsibly.

What is psychedelic integration therapy?

Psychedelic harm reduction therapy is an approach that centers you and your goals. We work with individuals who have had or are considering having an experience with a psychedelic substance. We work with people before and after a psychedelic experience.

This therapy is different from psychedelic assisted therapy because it does not include the presence of a psychedelic substance in a clinical setting. The psychedelic experience is independent from the therapy sessions.

Psychedelic medicines are currently illegal in North Carolina and not legally used in therapy settings except in clinical research trials.

Benefits of Psychedelic Medicine

Exploring the Benefits of Psychedelic Medicine

Research has supported the combination of psychedelic therapy and medicine to create changes that are longer lasting than traditional methods of mental health treatment.

Psychedelic medicine paired with therapy is an innovative treatment for depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other psychological problems.

Currently, the FDA is reviewing the new drug application for MDMA for the treatment of PTSD. Our therapists are trained in MDMA Assisted Therapy and are hopeful that this will become a treatment option soon.
